Some hyper-fixations never die... lol. I did a remake of a fan art &/or GIF I did at this point 5 years ago of like a persona James Lee uses for most of his videos by the name of NOX for his brand (even describing his work to a friend/mutual without mentioning his name shows that he is recognizable more or less & it makes me happy to hear). I've gotten into his stuff as of right now, 7 years ago, which I believe either his Sick of Silly Logan Paul vid or A Life Without Facebook (I can never remember what was recommended to me 1st at the time, but I always assumed it's the Facebook one) & he never disappoints. His animation work was always something I'm happy to see in sites like YouTube, or I guess it's mostly the nostalgia rose-tinted glasses talking? Either way, I'm still supportive of his work, hoping that some peeps will find his work, & support it too? Though, art is always subjective, so not everyone is gonna like the stuff that you do, & that's completely fair tbh. As long someone gets some enjoyment out of it, that it helps them throughout the day, or gets inspired even to work on their stuff, is what should matter & hopefully the same positive energy goes back in vice versa?
